The course covers 23 topics during each 45-minute (appx.) lesson, and includes 200 downloadable pages for a Biblical counseling notebook plus dozens of printable Practical Change Assignments for your personal counseling ministry.

About Portraits: This course completes the ACBC Learning Phase Requirement to observe 10 Hours of Biblical counseling. Portraits videos were filmed split-screen in our offices so you can observe both the counselor and counselee work through actual sessions. These are not dramatizations, but real sessions with four different ACBC certified counselors from our BCC offices.

About Essentials- ACBC Exam Guide: Dr. Ron Allchin and another ACBC certified counselor will walk you through the ACBC exam question by question to help you understand the heart behind each question and to know where you can find resources to answer the question effectively. We do not give you the answers, but our students have seen a major increase in the speed at which they can answer the questions as they use this resource.

Tim Allchin served in pastoral ministry for 14 years before transitioning to overseeing the Biblical Counseling Center. He earned his Doctor of Ministry with an emphasis in Biblical Counseling from Central Baptist Theological Seminary. Tim's D. Min thesis was entitled \"Training Pastors to Launch Lay Counseling Teams in the Local Church\" and this course is the result of strengthening this process through this project. Currently, BCC is working with churches in 8 states to help them develop lay biblical counseling teams.
